A few other Albert Strange designed boats had intended to join us for an Association Meet but the strong wind that had powered us here so quickly, had been a headwind for them which slowed progress. After lunch, to catch a favourable tide, we began our return passage to The Walton Backwaters. I knew well the careful timing needed to get through the narrow channel into the Backwaters, having taken Tramontana there in 2013. In a tense moment at Stone Point I had just 40 cm under Tramontana's keel. Under Robert's careful command Charm crossed the bar without incident. Our 'charming' day was rounded off with a most enjoyable meal at The Harbour Lights Restaurant.
