Robert could not have wishes for a better conditions as far as showing off Charm was concerned. Although the wind was Force 5, touching Force 6, the sea state was moderate, and the boat surged onward, able to push through the waves at a most respectable six knots with all four sails raised, the main with a single reef in. Our dash between The Walton Backwaters and Felixstowe was done on one long starboard tack. This left the crew with plenty of time to get to know each another, and to admire the view.
